Redefine Meat: Cooking Up a Plant-Based Launch
The Brief
Redefine Meat needed a set of high-impact videos to support the launch of seven new plant-based products in Morrisons superstores across the UK. The brief was all about showing the versatility of the range and how the products cook, look and feel in a real kitchen. They wanted cinematic visuals, rich sound design, and a style that felt like a Netflix food documentary trailer.
Our Approach
We leaned into the idea of food as experience. This wasn’t just about the ingredients: it was about sound, texture and visual mood.
We filmed in a home kitchen, capturing the sizzle, steam and seasoning through close-up cooking sequences. The shots were sleek and atmospheric, with chef-like energy but a real-life setting.
We delivered one main video covering the full product range, alongside seven short-form reels designed for individual product stories.
What We Delivered
• Cinematic overview video featuring all seven products
• Seven social-first reels for individual SKUs
• Full creative direction, styling and scripting
• One-day shoot with high-volume content output
Behind the Scenes
The schedule was tight, but the vibe was great. We had a lot to get through in a single day with multiple dishes, multiple setups and rapid turnarounds. It was high energy but ran like clockwork.
We planned everything carefully in advance, which gave us the space to be creative on the day and still capture every shot we needed.
The Outcome
The final content is being used to support Redefine Meat’s UK rollout across social, digital and trade platforms. Each video showcases how the product cooks and how it fits into a vibrant, modern plant-based lifestyle.
The team were extremely pleased with the results, and the content exceeded expectations by delivering multiple versatile edits from one shoot.
Why It Mattered
Redefine Meat is reshaping the way people see plant-based food. Getting to play a part in that shift was exciting. We love working with brands that bring innovation, and this was exactly that, a bold idea backed by quality products, shot with creative intent and fast delivery.
Client Feedback
Working with Novus Nine was a pleasure from start to finish. Sam and Dom took the time to understand our goals and brought creativity, flexibility and speed throughout the project.
They translated our ideas into visually stunning content that exceeded expectations. We walked away with multiple edits, ready to use across platforms, and had a great day shooting together. Agile, professional and a joy to work with! We will definitely collaborate again.

Lannock Farm: From Field to Website
The Brief
Lannock Farm came to us with a clear goal. Their existing website was no longer fit for purpose. It lacked structure, had no online shop, and wasn’t helping customers find what they needed. They wanted a completely new experience. Something that felt fresh, easy to use, and reflective of their family-run farm and butchery. They needed a site that could support online orders, event bookings, and provide a proper introduction to who they are.
Our Approach
We started with a full site map to make sure the customer journey came first. Every decision after that was shaped around clarity, simplicity and ease of use. We built a fully responsive site using Wix Studio, supported by original photography and video content shot on the farm. From drone footage to product shots, everything was created in a single shoot day and planned with the new site structure in mind.
What We Delivered
• Fully designed and developed website on Wix Studio
• Photo and video content for the site and shop
• Drone and lifestyle footage to bring the farm experience online
• Product photography for the e-commerce sections
• Ticketing integration for events and workshops
Behind the Scenes
This was a real team effort. From kicking off design to launching the full site, everything was turned around in six weeks. The shoot day was a highlight, packed with energy and good weather, and made possible by a client who trusted us to get on with it. It felt more like a collaboration than a commission.
The Outcome
Lannock Farm now has a site that works as hard as they do. They can sell meat boxes, hampers and tickets to their workshops with ease. The shop is fully functional, mobile friendly and already delivering results. Within five days of launch, they had over 400 site sessions with an average session duration of 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Visitors are staying, browsing and buying.
Why It Mattered
Working with a family-run business always feels personal. You can see the passion in everything they do, and you want to match that in the work you create. This was more than just building a website. It was about giving their story and their customers the online home they deserve.

Gü Desserts: Embracing the Cosy
The Brief
Gü Desserts approached us to help fill a gap in their content strategy. They had strong product photography and lo-fi social content, but no professional video assets that could sit proudly across Instagram, TikTok and beyond. They wanted something elevated but still relatable. The campaign was centred around their seasonal Hot Range, with a clear creative theme: Embrace the Cosy.
Our Approach
We worked closely with the Gü team to translate their brief into a series of indulgent, social-first video assets. We sourced the kitchen location, booked the shoot, and created a warm, tactile aesthetic that reflected both the luxury of the product and the comfort of the season. Every frame was crafted to show off the gooey interiors, rising steam, and spoon-in moments that define the Gü experience. We focused on storytelling that felt natural and sensory, all optimised for vertical social formats.
What We Delivered
• A series of short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok
• Hero content for Chocolate Melting Middle plus supporting reels for the full Hot Range
• Kitchen studio location scouting and booking
• On-set direction, full shoot production and post-production editing
• Seamless remote collaboration with the client on the day
Behind the Scenes
Although the client could not attend in person due to transport strikes, we kept communication smooth with real-time WhatsApp updates throughout the shoot. From foil peels to slow spoon breaks, we worked hard to bring the brief to life with a mix of technical precision and creative instinct. Every dessert was styled and shot with love. The kitchen smelled amazing too.
The Outcome
The Gü team were thrilled with the results. The content was delivered quickly, fully aligned with the brand, and ready to roll out across channels. It gave them the professional polish they were missing without losing the cosy, scroll-stopping energy they were aiming for. It hit the sweet spot between brand and bite-sized.
Why It Mattered
Gü is a brand we have long admired. Getting the chance to work with them on such a flavourful, creatively open project was a real highlight. It was the kind of brief that let us do what we do best. Smart production, thoughtful storytelling, and content that makes you stop, look, and maybe reach for a spoon.
What The Client Said:
'Working with Sam and Dom on behalf of Gü Desserts was a dream. From briefing to shooting and asset delivery, the whole process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. They were easy to communicate with, approachable, and enthusiastic, while always being reliable and efficient. What stood out most was how perfectly they struck the balance between studio-quality production and social-first content - our brief was executed flawlessly, and the final assets exceeded expectations. We’ve already had great feedback internally, and can't wait to use the content across our channels. Novus Nine are creative, professional, and a true pleasure to work with - we’d recommend them to anyone looking for a team who can deliver outstanding results with ease.'

DeWalt: Workwear in the Real World
The Brief
DeWalt came to us to capture a full range of workwear products for use across their website, social media, and print catalogues. They were looking for photography that felt authentic and tough, showcasing tops, trousers, shorts, boots and trainers in real environments. They also wanted a partner who could manage the entire shoot, not just turn up with a camera.
Our Approach
We produced the shoot end to end. That included sourcing a suitable construction site location, securing three models, and managing logistics throughout. The creative approach was simple. Capture the product in action. We focused on real movement, natural-feeling light enhanced with studio flashes, and framing that felt clean but rugged. It needed to feel like DeWalt. No fuss. Just solid content.
What We Delivered
• On-location product photography of the full workwear range
• Shoot production including model and location sourcing
• Two professional photographers on site
• Full gallery of imagery for web, social and catalogue use
Behind the Scenes
The client joined us on site, and the energy on the day was great. We originally planned for two models, but one turned out to be a smaller fit than expected and some of the tops didn’t land quite right. Rather than compromise, we arranged for a third model to join us that afternoon. The shoot carried on without disruption and we made sure the client left with everything they needed. No reshoot required. Just smart thinking in the moment.
The Outcome
DeWalt walked away with a complete set of product images that show their gear in action. The images are now being used across digital platforms and printed materials, with strong feedback from the internal team. The content speaks directly to the people who wear the brand every day, and that is exactly what it needed to do.
Why It Mattered
DeWalt is a household name and a brand we have huge respect for. Being trusted to lead a shoot like this from start to finish was a great opportunity. It also meant working with a brilliant team and creating content that felt right from the very first frame. Good people. Great brand. Solid results.

Nice: Where Fashion Meets Canned Wine
The Brief
Nice approached us to reimagine how their products could be photographed. They didn’t want standard FMCG shots. They wanted something bold, creative, and totally unexpected. Their goal was to position their canned wine and new multipacks as this summer’s must-have accessory. Think fashion editorial, not food shoot. Clean backgrounds, beautiful styling, and visuals that felt aspirational without trying too hard.
Our Approach
We took their creative vision and built it into a full visual strategy. We developed a moodboard, pulled reference images from high-end fashion campaigns, and embraced direct flash and strong styling choices to elevate each shot. Every detail mattered. From accessories to colour palette to model casting, we made sure the cans felt as curated as a lookbook.
What We Delivered
• Full campaign photography for cans and multipacks
• Creative direction and styling
• Pre-production and planning support
• Studio shoot with model sourcing and coordination
• Campaign-ready imagery with clean space for copy and digital use
Behind the Scenes
The shoot took place in a London studio and brought together two models, multiple setups, and a lot of fun. We collaborated closely with the Nice team throughout the day. The vibe was relaxed, creative, and full of energy. Dom brought the fashion edge to set, and yes, we wrapped it all with a well-earned Wagamama's.
The Outcome
Nice walked away with a full suite of photography that feels true to their brand and visually different from everything else on the shelf. The content is already being rolled out across digital and marketing channels, and the team is thrilled with the results. The shots have already become a core part of their visual identity.
Why It Mattered
This was a dream brief. It let us push boundaries, combine fashion photography with product branding, and work with a client that trusted us creatively. Canned wine never looked so good. It was fresh, fast-paced, and genuinely fun from start to finish. We would do it all again tomorrow.
Testimonial
Working with Novus Nine was seamless from start to finish. From the very first call to receiving the final images, everything ran smoothly. The team took feedback on board, brought brilliant creative ideas to the table, and absolutely nailed the vision. Dom brought such energy and initiative on shoot day, even helping us capture more content than we originally planned. The final imagery exceeded expectations. Every shot looks incredible, even the clean product frames. The content has been easy to use, edit, and apply across our brand. Everyone is really happy with the results, and we cannot wait to work with Sam and Dom again. They are the dream team.

Toro UK: Telling a Story That Cuts Through
The Brief
Toro UK came to us with a simple but powerful brief. They wanted to support Swan Landscapes, a business that had recently gone viral thanks to a video by Simon Squibb. With momentum building online, Toro had donated equipment and wanted to help tell the story in a meaningful way. The goal was to capture the moment before it passed, while giving back to the community through powerful content.
Our Approach
We kept the production tight, focused, and documentary-led. Through interviews, b-roll, and lifestyle imagery, we told the story of Swan Landscapes and their connection to Toro. The result was something authentic and polished, with a clear emotional pull. It needed to feel real and generous without being overproduced.
What We Delivered
• Short-form documentary video
• Stills photography for digital and social use
• Interview setup, filming, and editing
• Same-day turnaround on select assets for online momentum
Behind the Scenes
We already had a strong relationship with Toro, which made the shoot feel seamless from the start. The energy on set was fun and focused. Everyone involved knew how important it was to move fast and deliver something that captured the spirit of the moment while the story was still live in the public eye.
The Outcome
The video received over 4,000 views on Instagram and more than 8,500 views on TikTok. Toro had fresh content that supported both their brand and their values. Swan Landscapes had a high-quality record of their story. And the entire piece gave weight to the generosity and good that sparked from a simple act of support.
Why It Mattered
This shoot was about more than content. It was about storytelling with purpose. It reminded us that when brands take meaningful action, the story becomes much bigger than a product or a service. It becomes about people, community, and impact. That is always worth capturing.

SMA UK: Capturing a Community That Cares
The Brief
SMA UK is a charity dedicated to supporting people living with spinal muscular atrophy, along with their families and wider community. We work with them regularly to document the amazing things they do, from Picnic in the Park gatherings to book launches and fully accessible adventure weekends at Calvert Trust sites. Every project is designed to raise awareness, build connection, and show what is possible when people come together to care.
Our Approach
We take a documentary approach, always with care at the centre. We film interviews, gather b-roll and stills, and shape everything into content that feels real, polished and deeply human. We take extra time to ensure everyone we interview feels safe, supported and heard. These are big conversations, and we are always mindful of the trust people place in us when they open up. This is one of the charities we feel proudest to support.
What We Delivered
• Short documentary films across multiple events
• Stills photography for marketing, website and social use
• Interview content for storytelling and fundraising
• Ongoing creative partnership with multiple annual shoots
Behind the Scenes
Working with SMA UK never feels like work. The team are welcoming and passionate, and we always leave feeling like we have been part of something good. Whether we are chasing sunshine in a park or sharing tea in a community hall, the warmth and energy of this group is contagious. These are the kinds of shoots that stick with you.
The Outcome
The content we create helps SMA UK raise essential funds and awareness. It is used in campaigns, across social media, and in communications with supporters. More than anything, it helps tell the story of a charity that exists to support, uplift and connect people who often feel unseen. We are proud to play a small part in helping that message reach further.
Why It Mattered
SMA UK is more than a client. They are a community. And working with them means helping shine a light on stories that deserve to be seen. From the staff to the families, everyone brings something real to the table. The care they give is reflected in every part of what they do, and we are all in.

We focused on producing clean, modern photography that felt natural and warm. The brief was all about people in their element, not staged or overly formal. We worked with the flow of the day, capturing real moments that showcased the atmosphere, collaboration, and forward-thinking energy at PMI.
What We Delivered
• Full event coverage including breakfast sessions, presentations, and breakout moments
• Lifestyle imagery of the office in use
• Brand-aligned stills of teams engaging, moving, and working across different spaces
• Edited images delivered within 48 hours for immediate use
Behind the Scenes
From the moment we arrived, the PMI team treated us like part of the crew. The shoot was relaxed, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable. We worked across several office zones throughout the day and captured a wide variety of moments that brought the brief to life. Also worth noting, the coffee was next level.
The Outcome
PMI walked away with a versatile suite of stills ready to use across LinkedIn, internal platforms, and future campaigns. The quick turnaround helped them share key event highlights straight away, keeping momentum and engagement high. The images are already in use and more shoot days are in the works.
Why It Mattered
PMI is one of the largest and most recognisable companies in the world. Being invited to step inside and help tell a piece of their story was a proud moment for our team. It was a reminder that even in a global organisation, the most powerful thing you can capture is people.

The Oardinary Crew: Crossing an Ocean with Purpose
The Brief
The Oardinary Crew came to us with a bold mission. They are rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in the world’s toughest endurance race. None of them had ever rowed before. They needed a complete digital presence to support their fundraising goals, attract corporate sponsors, and rally support around their story.
Our Approach
We wanted every visual to feel like a professional sports campaign. Powerful. Cinematic. Unified. From the start, we treated this like a team brand, not just a charity project. We worked closely with the crew to build a visual identity that reflected their energy and ambition.
What We Delivered
• Website design and development
• Full social content strategy and creation
• Headshots and lifestyle photography
• Training films and behind-the-scenes footage
• Documentary interviews
• Charity-focused storytelling
We planned and delivered everything in-house, becoming part of the crew’s extended team throughout their preparation.
Behind the Scenes
This crew brings high energy and good humour to everything. Filming their training sessions was a mix of grit and laughter. Seeing them tackle this challenge as complete beginners made the project even more inspiring. They went from zero rowing experience to preparing for a world record attempt. That journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
The Outcome
The crew now has a bold digital presence across web and social. The content is already helping them build an engaged audience, secure sponsors, and raise awareness for the charities they are rowing for. Their story is being shared, reshared, and remembered.
Why It Mattered
At Novus Nine, we believe the most powerful stories are often the most human. The Oardinary Crew is a perfect example of that. Ordinary people doing something extraordinary for causes they care deeply about. We are not just documenting a race. We are capturing a movement built on courage, charity, and connection.
What’s Next
This is only the beginning. We will be continuing to film, photograph, and support The Oardinary Crew as they approach the starting line. More stories, more moments, and more heart are still to come.

Handmade Kitchen Company: Craft Meets Content
The Brief
We work with Handmade Kitchen Company on a regular basis to capture their bespoke kitchens in real homes. Each space is completely unique, and every project demands the same level of care and attention to detail that goes into the kitchens themselves. The goal is simple. Create content that feels as beautifully made as the product. Less like a reel. More like a piece of art.
Our Approach
We take a slow and considered approach to filming and photography. Smooth movements, elegant light, and sharp attention to craftsmanship. Every angle is designed to show the quality, detail, and lifestyle that comes with a handmade kitchen. We keep the tone high-end and curated. Always polished. Never rushed.
What We Deliver
• Stills photography for each completed kitchen
• Video content for social media, web and case studies
• Lifestyle visuals with a premium look and feel
• On-site support with the client present for each shoot
Behind the Scenes
The relationship we have with the team is what makes these shoots flow. They are on site with us for every project, and it always feels collaborative. We have fun with the process but never lose focus on the detail. It is about consistency, trust, and pushing creativity on every new kitchen we shoot.
The Outcome
Over time, our work has become an important part of their digital strategy. Their reels have seen over 300,000 views on individual posts. More importantly, the value of their average job has doubled since we started working together. The visuals now reflect the premium quality of their service and help convert high-intent buyers online.
Why It Mattered
This partnership is a rare kind of creative relationship. One built on trust, high standards, and a shared commitment to quality. We are given full creative freedom to shoot in a way that feels right for each space. That kind of trust allows us to make work we are proud of. It is storytelling at its most elegant. And we love being part of it.

Aching Arms: Giving Space to Speak
The Brief
Aching Arms approached us to document a unique event as part of their Offload campaign. The event brought together men who had experienced the loss of a child, offering them a safe space to play golf, connect with others, and speak openly about their grief. The aim was to raise awareness of the campaign, break the silence around bereavement, and encourage healthier conversations about mental health, especially within the construction industry.
Our Approach
We took a documentary approach that balanced sensitivity with strength. Through interviews, b-roll, and quiet observation, we captured moments of connection and reflection without interrupting the space. The focus was always on honesty, respect, and human connection. The result was a short film that felt real, warm, and supportive.
What We Delivered
• Documentary-style event film
• Full filming and editing of interviews, activities and interaction
• Emotionally grounded storytelling for charity awareness
Behind the Scenes
The day was incredibly moving. We were welcomed into the group and given the space to observe and capture it all as it happened. There was a sense of trust and purpose throughout the shoot. Also, being able to drive our own golf buggy made it a little more fun than usual. It was one of those rare projects where you leave feeling like you were part of something much bigger than yourself.
The Outcome
The film has helped Aching Arms spread awareness of the Offload campaign and the wider charity. It is being used as a key resource to start conversations, encourage participation, and support future events. The team were incredibly happy with the result and the message it delivers.
Why It Mattered
Some stories are more than just content. This was one of them. The Offload campaign is giving people a reason to open up and find support in a way that feels safe and natural. Helping to capture that honestly and respectfully was a privilege. We care deeply about storytelling that makes a difference. This project did exactly that.

The Giving Tree: Telling a Story That Matters
The Brief
The Giving Tree approached us for help with their website. As we got to know them, it became clear they needed more than just a digital presence. They had no video content and no way to show the full impact of their work. What they needed was a platform that could tell their story and inspire support.
Our Approach
We spent time with their team, visited the charities they support, and saw the impact first hand. One visit to EACH stayed with us. It helped us understand the emotion behind their work and shaped everything we created. We wanted the final result to feel honest, uplifting, and full of purpose.
What We Delivered
• Brand overview film
• Cycle Safari and Cambridge Half Marathon videos
• Custom-designed Wix Studio website
Everything was built from scratch with their mission in mind.
Behind the Scenes
We filmed across three counties in one day, capturing the energy of different communities and events. One of the standout moments was seeing The Giving Tree team cross the finish line at the Cambridge Half Marathon. The atmosphere, the commitment, the joy—it was unforgettable.
The Outcome
The Giving Tree now has a central place to tell their story, promote their events, and attract new partners. They have the tools to grow and the confidence to show people who they are and what they stand for.
Why It Mattered
When the pandemic hit, The Chestnut Group could have shut their doors. Instead, they stepped up. They turned their venues into foodbanks and delivered meals to key workers. The Giving Tree was born out of a choice to help. That story stayed with us. It deserved to be shared.
Testimonial
I have really enjoyed working with Novus Nine, they were incredibly professional, came with lots of new, creative ideas and I loved the finished result! I would recommend to anyone looking to tell their brand story through engaging content.
