The Brief
SMA UK is a charity dedicated to supporting people living with spinal muscular atrophy, along with their families and wider community. We work with them regularly to document the amazing things they do, from Picnic in the Park gatherings to book launches and fully accessible adventure weekends at Calvert Trust sites. Every project is designed to raise awareness, build connection, and show what is possible when people come together to care.
Our Approach
We take a documentary approach, always with care at the centre. We film interviews, gather b-roll and stills, and shape everything into content that feels real, polished and deeply human. We take extra time to ensure everyone we interview feels safe, supported and heard. These are big conversations, and we are always mindful of the trust people place in us when they open up. This is one of the charities we feel proudest to support.
