The Commercial Challenge
Nice was preparing to launch a highly anticipated, top-to-bottom 2026 rebrand across their entire product range. The core of their new visual identity was built around a specific concept: "Wine in a new light," featuring a striking new 'beam' graphic asset. The commercial objective was to create a photographic identity that perfectly mirrored this new graphic direction. They required a highly collaborative visual partner to manage the studio logistics, source exact brand colours, and execute a flawless commercial shoot that would serve as the visual foundation for their new national rollout.
Our Strategic Approach
We approached this project as a true photographic campaign partnership, working hand-in-hand with the Nice marketing team to bring their conceptual vision to life. To create absolute symmetry between their new graphic 'beam' and the physical photography, we engineered a highly specific studio lighting setup. By utilising barn door modifiers, setting the lighting rigs far back, and using precise black and white cards to funnel the light, we effectively created a "window." This cast a sharp, distinctive beam across the products, perfectly replicating their new brand asset in camera.
The Deliverables
• Comprehensive suite of premium commercial stills for the 2026 rebrand
• Bespoke, engineered lighting setups designed to mimic the brand's new visual assets
• End-to-end studio procurement and logistical management in Central London
• Rigorous pre-production collaboration, including Pantone-matched background sourcing
• Delivery of high-resolution RAW files for internal design integration
The Production Reality
Executing a launch of this scale requires absolute synergy between the agency and the brand. We facilitated a seamless 1.5-day studio residency, allowing our crew to fully pre-light the complex "beam" setups on day one before the Nice team arrived. On the shoot day, the environment was dynamic and highly collaborative. We worked closely with their marketing managers to test, tweak, and perfect the lighting across their different physical products, from cans and bottles to bag-in-box formats. We also collaborated heavily on background selection, ensuring the final backdrops (Carnation Pink, Damson Claret, Lemon Yellow, and Larkspur Teal) were the closest possible match to their new brand world.
The Commercial Outcome
The 2026 Nice rebrand officially launched to massive industry acclaim, with our collaborative photography sitting front and centre. The visual assets are actively driving the new brand aesthetic across their newly launched e-commerce website and email marketing. The campaign rollout secured immediate traction, generating over 13,000 combined organic views across Instagram Reels.
On the B2B front, the imagery drove significant industry engagement, securing hundreds of high-value interactions across their corporate LinkedIn and founder-led announcement posts. The partnership successfully translated a conceptual graphic rebrand into a tangible, high-end commercial reality.
Client Verdict
Had a shoot booked with Sam and Dom and couldn’t recommend them more. We came with a pretty niche brief and they were so accommodating with what we wanted to get out of the shoot, they did so much brain storming and research from their side to really nail the vibe we were after and they were really flexible with our quick turnaround time. Shoot day was seamless from start to finish. The finished photos are amazing and we got more than we hoped for from the day.
